Is Coterie subscription worth $0.50/diaper vs Costco at $0.20?

Common questionAnswered by Wermom EditorialUpdated June 11, 2026

Costco's Kirkland are $0.20/change. Coterie is $0.50. 2.5x the price. Do they really perform 2.5x better?

A question we hear often from parents. Here is our editorial team's evidence-based answer.

We rated both: Coterie 4.5/5, Kirkland 4.6/5. Kirkland wins on cost-per-change math by a wide margin. Coterie wins on softness and convenience (subscription). Performance difference is real but not 2.5x. Use Coterie for the newborn months if budget allows, Kirkland from month 3.
