Who we are — and who owns us
Diaper Talk Review is a product-review site for parents shopping for diapers, wipes, and related newborn essentials. We compare brands on fit, absorbency, sensitive-skin performance, and real cost-per-change, and we publish what we'd actually buy for our own babies.
Ownership disclosure: Diaper Talk Review is owned and operated by
Wermom Essentials Inc. (Toronto, Canada) — the same company behind the Wermom app and the Wermom Shop. We tell you this up front, on every page footer, and any time we mention a product in the Wermom family.
How we test
We buy the diapers ourselves and use them in real day-and-night rotations — we don't rely on brand-supplied samples or spec sheets. Our scoring weighs leak protection, fit across sizes, skin reactions, and the math of cost-per-change over a typical month. Where a claim touches a baby's health or skin, we point to published authority guidance rather than our own opinion.
Our money — in plain terms
- No third-party brand money. Diaper brands cannot pay for a ranking, a score, or a "best of" placement.
- Some affiliate links. A few review pages use affiliate links (e.g. Amazon, Target). If you buy through one we may earn a small commission — but the brand still didn't pay for the ranking.
- Funded by our parent company. The rest of the operation is funded by Wermom Essentials Inc.
When we mention the Wermom family: if a page links to
Wermom Shop or the
Wermom app, those are our parent company's products. We mark those links and say so inline every time — you should weigh our take on them accordingly.
